him the opportunity to play Harry Potter friend "Cedric Diggory" in
the film. His performance was well-received, and it made him famous. He appeared
in a cameo in the fifth "Harry Potter" movie, "Harry Potter and
the Order of the Phoenix," as well.
2008's "Twilight," in which Pattinson played
the role of "Edward Cullen," was released. The film served as the
start of the "Twilight" film franchise. The movie, which focused on
the romance between a girl named Bella Swan and a vampire named Edward Cullen,
was a huge hit. Many people praised the chemistry he had with Kristen Stewart,
his co-star.
In 2009, for the follow-up, "Twilight: New
Moon," he got back together with the "Twilight" ensemble. The
movie, which was directed by Chris Weitz, debuted on November 16, 2009. The
film had a major commercial success, earning more than $700 million worldwide,
just like its forerunner.
When the third installment of the "Twilight"
series was released in 2010, Pattinson carried on with his portrayal of
"Edward Cullen." Like its prequels, this David Slade-directed film
was a box office hit.
He then appears in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking
