Father Blount was born in Tampa, Florida, on July 18,
1958. He was born into a large family and is an American. He had two brothers
and five sisters. Father Blount attended his local school. He attended Tampa's
Robinson High School. Father Blount was an exceptionally gifted young man who
was involved in a variety of activities.
He played football, marched in the marching band, and
served as an officer in the student council at his school. Father Blount enjoys
participating in sports. Father Blount
went on to earn numerous honors degrees after that.
In addition, he earned a journalism degree and
accomplished a great deal in sports. Additionally, he was awarded a scholarship
to enlist in the US Navy in Florida.

Father Blount held great sentimental value to his
graduation experiences. When he
graduated in 1976, it was a momentous occasion for him. After their nation had
gained independence for two centuries, they graduated in this year. Every day
of Father Blount's college career was enjoyable. He had many talents and was an excellent
student.
In addition to
political science, he studied social science and even naval science. First, he
wanted to follow in his father's legal career. He used to get sidetracked, just
like any other teenager. Father Blount used to forbid teenagers from engaging
in such behavior, even though they used to drink and party.
Father Blount had a strong sense of purpose and
leadership. He began going through difficult times at ROTC because he had to
handle a top-secret weapon.
His colleagues used to brag about how many people they
had killed in the war, which used to bother him a lot. He used to be greatly
affected by the talk of war and violence that everyone used to share. He was surrounded by people who enjoyed
killing people and wanted to kill more. He would often go see the school
counselor to discuss things.

Father Blount used to pray every day, but he was
searching for an answer because he was so confused. When he began to hear divine voices in his
head, he decided to drop out of school.
After that, he began working as a chef at a steakhouse.
In the US, Blume's Steakhouse is well-known. Following
that, he relocated to his hometown and began working in a hospital. He was employed as a laborer on a building
site in addition to being a central supply clerk.
He commenced his studies at the Holy Apostles Seminary
in 1992. Here, he completed his master's degree studies in philosophy,
psychology, the works of the saints, and church functions. Additionally, he
received spiritual instruction from the Desert Society of Our Lady in New
Mexico. After taking his vows, he became a Benedictine Monk.
He completed his education at Holy Apostles for six
years, graduating in 1999. Along with these notable individuals, he also met
Bishops, Cardinals, and Father Benedict Cashel. Later on, he was ordained as a
priest in Corpus Christi, Texas. When his father passed away, he then went back
home.
